Beloved Foundations of Great Oaks Aussies

Katie was our first Australian Shepherd, and captured our hearts in 2004. We were so impressed with her intelligence and the amazing nature of these dogs, bred to be the ultimate friend and partner.  She was such a member of our family, and led us on this track of raising awesome Great Oaks Aussies. Katie has wonderful offspring giving such love to their families. After retiring, Katie spent her last few years giving love to our dear friend Gerrie, and her family. She certainly left her 'footprints' on the hearts of everyone she met!

After retiring, Freida was loved by her family in Dawsonville, GA. She was such a gentle, observant, intelligent girl and brought amazing puppies into the world. We are so happy to carry on Freida's line with her daughters, Fancy and Penny, and with her grandaughter Willow, and Great-granddaughters Happy and Pepper.

Dinah came to us in 2007, a year after her full sister, Audrey. She was such a sweet, happy, dear personality.  After retiring from breeding, brought daily joy as a best friend to my grandsons in Jefferson, GA. I loved being with Dinah often getting to love on and groom her. Dinah will always be remembered as the cuddle bug, princess, forever puppy!

Allie came to us from Broadway Aussies, and instantly bonded with our son Jacob. She has been such a joy and her offspring carry on that perpetual happy, 'love of life' kind of personality. She's a dear girl, and was loved every second of her retired family life with dear friends in Hampton GA. Allie also had that happy 'perpetual child' way about her, as well as being a dear little princess. So proud to have had her here with us.

Our precious Penny has been such a gentle spirit with 100% desire to please, since she was a tiny baby! She has had wonderful offspring who have also brought so much joy. We are so pleased to have had Skye from Penny and Silver to carry on her line. In her amazing retirement home, Penny aced the test for Therapy registration, and is now able to share her sweet spirit with children and seniors out there who will be so blessed to meet and spend a little time with our dear girl!

My sweet Skye... How you've blessed me with your devotion and companionship! She is Penny and Silver's daughter, and was also born here, and always been the happiest little girl. Skye is now retired from breeding and is bringing her special joy to her new family in Atlanta. Skye is already learning even more new things and brings such fun to every day. So very proud of this beautiful, smart and dear girl!

She's been such a gentle, devoted girl, and an ideal Australian Shepherd. Willow has been in love with our son Joseph since she was a  tiny girl, and now is retired to live with him in Wisconsin. I'm so happy to have her daughter Pepper to carry on Willow's line. It has been such a joy to have Freida, Fancy, Willow and now Pepper!

Katie is the daughter of Cotton and Mariah, and always such a dear, happy heart!! She's had amazing babies sired by Lincoln who are leaving their marks of love on families all across the country. She's retired now, and bringing her joy to a dear family who have Blue from her first litter!

Julia left her impression on Great Oaks Aussies for sure. She finished her happy life blessing a family in Michigan. Julia's offspring have carried on her huge heart and amazing ability. Our Penny, Willow, and Mariah, all Julia's grandaughters, certainly continued her line of amazing Aussies.

Audrey was my best friend and shadow since she was a tiny little girl. She was always such a sweetheart, and found her way into a dear friend's heart in Griffin GA. Her offspring pups have brought so much joy as well. Audrey's handsome son Silver had her loving heart too and I was so proud to have him as an awesome sire for Great Oaks Aussies! She will always be remembered, and cherished!

Fancy was born right here into my hands, from Freida and Cotton, and has brought us untold joy through her life here. Every day we were continually amazed at her great nature and intelligence. She had that super intelligent, dear friend kind of personality. After retiring, Fancy spent her final years enriching the lives of her family in Canton! Fancy's awesome line was carried on through her lovely daughter Willow, and now grandaughters Happy and Pepper.

Oh Cotton, my Cotton! We could never say enough about our amazing 'King Cotton'! He brought nothing but pride and joy every moment of his life! He has literally brought joy all across the US with his families loving their amazing 'Cotton kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids'!!  I've always said that his absolutely great nature and intelligence are equal with his amazingly handsome good looks!! What an awesome guy. I couldn't be more grateful for the blessing of our life with Cotton.

My awesome Silver was a dear and perfect 'gentleman' and had such a heart to please, to listen and to learn. If he could understand what you wanted him to do, he would do his best to do it! So much like his father Cotton, Silver was absolutely as well mannered and intelligent as he was stunningly beautiful. I could not be more blessed to have had Silver to carry on our awesome Great Oaks lines and sire wonderful pups through the years. Thanks you, and I love you, dear Silver!

Mariah was born right here and has always shown her amazing intelligence and dedication as well as incredible athleticism.We've always been so impressed with this beautiful girl, and have kept 3 of her awesome kids sired by our Cotton. Katie, Diesel and Maggie are exceptional in their own ways, and have inherited great genes from Dad and Mom!! She's retired now and bringing such joy and love to my daughter's family.

Libby and Lincoln came to us together as littermates from Star Australian Shepherds. Such beautiful babies, and have blessed and enriched our lives!! Libby has had dear and amazing kids sired by our Cotton, Silver, and Diesel. She's still such a part of our lives, and has retired to live with our son Charley.
